Reminiscence Secured Unit Care
Our Reminiscence unit is specifically designed to promote a warm, calm, yet inviting atmosphere. This unit offers a secure setting allowing residents to maintain their highest level of independence while benefiting from the safety and security of a skilled nursing facility with a professional staff.
Keeping our residents active and engaged with activities focused on their abilities, not disabilities, allows them to experience a sense of belonging, purpose and overall well-being.
Each resident has a life story with many accomplishments, experiences, and cherished moments. Our dedicated and compassionate staff takes the time to learn each resident’s life story and tailor a social and recreational program to that individual, providing a sense of comfort and joyful experiences. Input and feedback from families is encouraged and valued when creating individualized plans of care. All of our units open up to a beautiful courtyard so that everyone may enjoy beautiful gardens, and the sound of song-birds – all in a secure setting.
Two rooms are dedicated to serving home-style meals, hosting small groups including birthday parties, holiday gatherings, and other special occasions.
