At SNRC, each member of our dedicated medical, nursing and non-clinical staff has outstanding credentials, compassion, and a personal commitment to provide the best possible quality care to our Residents. Each of our primary physicians is renowned in their own right as geriatric specialists.
We take great pride in our interdisciplinary approach and develop a specific plan of care for each individual Resident, offering all of our Residents the opportunity to realize their full potential.
Suzanne M. Gauthier, LNHA
Suzanne has been an Administrator for 11 years and has an extensive background in long- term care. She has worked in a variety of long-term care settings that have focused on complex clinical needs, behavioral interventions, brain injury rehabilitation, and specialized ventilator units. Her ability to develop teams, motivate staff and provide quality care to the Residents she serves is exceptional. Suzanne is very committed to Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and is excited to bring the community together in new ways. She attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where she studied psychology and earned her BA degree.
Zahra Sheikh, MD, CMP, MPH, Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Sheikh is a fellowship-trained geriatrician and a certified Medical Director with American Medical Directors Association. She has special interest in managing geriatric syndromes, and her practice focuses on improving the health and functionality of older individuals. Dr. Sheikh also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health – Epidemiology and is actively involved in medical education at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Sheikh is a graduate of Nishtar Medical College and New York Medical College. She obtained her Internal Medicine residency training at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
Linda Pellegrini, BS, MS
Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
Linda has extensive clinical expertise in pain control, end of life care, and the treatment of dementia.
Her clinical practice encompasses the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital, Notre Dame du Lac, and Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Linda graduated from nursing school at Salem State College with a BS in Nursing and from the University of Massachusetts with a MS in nursing.
Director of Rehabilitation
Heather has spent her entire career as a rehabilitation professional with top-rated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in central Massachusetts. She has successfully developed and implemented ambulation, restorative, and positioning programs in addition to making sure that the occupational, physical, and speech therapy programs are consistently superior at SNRC. Heather holds a degree from Quinsigamond Community College from which she graduated with High Honors.
Michelle Scully, BS
Director of Admissions and Marketing
Michelle brings with her very significant experience in both marketing as well as admitting residents to skilled nursing facilities in various parts of Massachusetts. She also has experience in primary school education. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Elementary Education from Fitchburg State University.
Andrea is in charge of all Resident accounts at SNRC, which includes billing, filing for reimbursements, and matters relating to insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. She has had more than 25 years of extensive experience as a billing manager for several top-rated skilled nursing facilities in central Massachusetts. Andrea attended Middlesex Community College and resides with her family in Leominster.
